Climate-Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices—like organic composting—are helping smallholder farmers in Manica Province enhance soil health, improve yields, and reduce dependence on costly inputs. Farmers share firsthand how these changes are strengthening both productivity and resilience. SUSTAIN Productive landscapes for inclusive growth in Tanzania and Mozambique (SUSTAIN Pro) is a 10-year programme implemented by IUCN, with support from the Manica Provincial Agency for Economic Development (ADEM) in Mozambique. The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (Norad) funds the programme.
