In 2025 across both landscapes, SUSTAIN Eco strengthened the link between governance, restoration, climate-smart production, and conservation-linked livelihoods, with a clearer
shift from project-led delivery towards stronger local ownership by community institutions, local government actors, and landscape-level platforms. At the same time, the programme expanded its contribution beyond the landscapes through national policy engagement, strategic communications, youth innovation, and partnerships on green finance and resilience.
